Holiday Home
Open to the view.
Ready for your return.
A holiday home is held to a different standard. It needs to perform when no one is there — sealed against weather, secure through the off-season and straightforward to maintain. And when people arrive, it needs to deliver the feeling that made the property worth having: light, openness, a strong connection to the landscape or the view.
Black Steel doors and windows are well suited to this combination when specified for the location. Thermally broken and thermally enhanced options can be selected around the property’s performance requirements. Slim profiles maximise the view. And because every door is made to order, it can be specified for the exact opening, orientation and exposure of the property — wherever it is.

Before you specify
Considerations for
your holiday home.
01
Weather exposure
Coastal and elevated locations place higher demands on external glazing. Our team can help assess the site’s exposure and confirm available weather-performance evidence for the selected system, glazing and configuration.
02
Security during vacancy
Holiday homes may be unoccupied for extended periods. Ask our team about locking options and PAS 24-tested configurations appropriate to the property; certification and hardware depend on the selected specification.
03
Low maintenance
Factory-applied finishes support durability, but coastal salt and exposure require an appropriate coating specification and ongoing cleaning and maintenance. We can advise on suitable finishes and care requirements for your location.
04
Remote project management
Many holiday home owners are not local to the property. We are experienced in managing surveys, manufacturing and installation for projects at a distance, coordinating with local contractors and keeping owners informed throughout.
Black Steel Doors
Made differently.
For a reason.
01
Made to measure
Every system is produced around the dimensions and architecture of your project.
02
Slim proportions
Engineered profiles maximise glass and light while keeping the frame visually refined.
03
Bespoke specification
Choose glazing, bars, hardware, finish and colour around the character of the property.
04
Project led
From concept to survey and installation, each system is treated as part of the architecture.
